Ranjith, is it possible to post PASSENGER screenplay here..it will be inspiring for the upcoming film-makers.

I think it's the first time in Malayalam a director is trying to be more communicative through blogs. The plot of your new movie seems interesting. Passenger was a good movie and I expect ArjunanSakshi would be a much better one.

edge,
1.No.It was inspired from some of the people/events i knew,not movies.
2.No favorite director.I like movies,not directors.
3.I made passenger exactly the way i wanted to.
4.Arjunan saakshi will have 2 songs.depends on the movie.
5.havent thought about it,maybe after an yr i will have an answer.

Nice to see you on 8mm. I've got a chance to see your Movie "Passenger" and thought it was well made.
Since you are on here, I would like to ask your few things..

1. Regarding "PASSENGER", were you inspired by a specific movie/events? I don't mean copying or lifting subjects of other movies, I think its perfectly okay to be inspired by other movies/directors.

quoting from Quentin Tarantino : I steal from every movie ever made :-)

2. Are you influenced by any directors from the EAST or WEST, who do you like most, any movies in particular, any scenes which you like most and please tell us why..

3. When you make movies, are you forced to comprise on the quality / or your conviction of the movie by the commercial value of the movie?.. if so, can you make a confession if that happened with PASSENGER?

4. There is no song in the movie PASSENGER, is that the same with your new movie, if so are you going to be a director who is going to make a point that we can make commercial hits without songs in the movie?..

5. If you were to direct PASSENGER again, will you direct/craft it differently? if so why?..

6. I think PASSENGER differentiated itself at the last few moments with a message which resonated with the common man,;you can effect somebodies life without even knowing them or even related to them..
